QinetiQ

QinetiQ is a British defence technology company headquartered in Farnborough, Hampshire. It operates primarily in the defence, security and critical national infrastructure markets, running testing and evaluation capabilities for air, land, sea and target systems. The company was established as a private entity in July 2001 through the privatisation of the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency, with some of that agency's resources, facilities and personnel transferring to QinetiQ while other elements became the government-owned Defence Science and Technology Laboratory.
