Austal Limited

Austal Limited is an Australian-based global shipbuilding company and defence prime contractor specializing in the design, construction and support of defence and commercial vessels, including naval vessels, high-speed ferries, and supply or crew transfer vessels for offshore wind farms and oil and gas platforms. It operates shipbuilding facilities in Henderson, Western Australia, Mobile, Alabama, and Balamban, Philippines, plus vessel support centres in Australia, the United States, the Philippines and Oman, with its corporate headquarters co-located at its Henderson facility. As of early 2017, Austal had designed and constructed more than 260 vessels for defence forces and commercial fleet operators including the Australian Border Force, Royal Australian Navy, Royal Navy of Oman and United States Navy.
