Aselsan

Aselsan A.S. is a Turkish defense company headquartered in Ankara that researches, develops and manufactures advanced military equipment for air, land and maritime forces. It was founded in 1975 by the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, established in the aftermath of the 1974 Cyprus intervention and the arms embargo the United States imposed on Turkey afterward, and it remains one of the major contractors of the Turkish Armed Forces. Defense News has ranked Aselsan among the fifty largest defense companies in the world by revenue.
