GN Store Nord A/S

GN Store Nord A/S is a Danish company based in Ballerup, north of Copenhagen, that makes hearing aids under the GN ReSound and GN Hearing brands along with speakerphones, videobars, headsets and gaming peripherals under the Jabra and SteelSeries names, marketed under brands including ReSound, Jabra, SteelSeries, Beltone, Interton, Danavox and FalCom in more than 100 markets. It began in June 1869 as the Great Northern Telegraph Company, formed by industrialist Carl Frederik Tietgen through the merger of three telegraph companies after a concession from the Russian Tsar granted rights to build telegraph lines linking Europe to the Far East. The company took the name GN Store Nord, short for Great Nordic, in 1985 to reflect its changed business and subsidiary structure, and it is listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen.
