Convatec Group plc

Convatec Group plc is a British medical products and technologies company headquartered in London, specialising in advanced wound care, ostomy care, continence care and infusion care. It began in 1978 as a division of the pharmaceutical company E.R. Squibb and Sons, was acquired by private equity firms Nordic Capital and Avista Capital Partners in 2008, and floated on the London Stock Exchange in October 2016, joining the FTSE 100 Index that December. The company operates in more than 100 countries with roughly 10,000 employees and has repositioned itself around chronic disease management, with about 97 percent of its revenue now coming from products used in continuous treatment.
