Suncorp Group Limited, known simply as Suncorp, is an Australian general insurance corporation headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland. It was formed on 1 December 1996 through the merger of Suncorp, Metway Bank and the Queensland Industry Development Corporation, and it operated as one of Australia's mid-sized banks until 2022. It is Australia's largest general insurance group.
