Union Bancaire Privée is a private bank and wealth management firm headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, founded in 1969 by Edgar de Picciotto as the Compagnie de Banque et d'Investissements. It grew into its present form through acquisitions, including the 1990 purchase of TDB American Express Bank, and today serves private and institutional clients through private banking, asset management and alternative investment services. It is one of Switzerland's largest private banks, managing 184.5 billion Swiss francs in assets with about 2,667 employees, led by chairman Daniel de Picciotto and chief executive Guy de Picciotto.
