CITIC Limited

CITIC Limited is a Hong Kong-headquartered conglomerate and Hang Seng Index component, principally engaged in financial services, resources and energy, manufacturing, engineering contracting, real estate and other businesses. Founded in 1990 in British Hong Kong and based at CITIC Tower on Hong Kong Island, it was previously known as CITIC Pacific Limited before a 2014 name change, and is about 58 percent owned by the Chinese state-owned CITIC Group, with additional stakes held by an Itochu-Charoen Pokphand joint venture and the National Social Security Fund.
