CaixaBank, S.A. is a Spanish multinational financial services company established in January 2011, with its registered office in Valencia and operational headquarters in Barcelona and Madrid. It is Spain third largest lender by market value, after Banco Santander and BBVA, formed from the merger of La Caixa banking and insurance operations with the publicly traded Criteria CaixaCorp. The bank operates a network of 5,397 branches serving about 15.8 million customers and is listed on the Bolsa de Madrid as part of the IBEX 35 index.
