Unipol

Unipol Assicurazioni S.p.A. is an Italian insurance and banking holding company founded in 1962 in Bologna as a cooperative provider of non-life insurance. Headquartered in the Unipol Tower in Bologna, it operates through insurance brands including UnipolSai Assicurazioni, Linear Assicurazioni and UniSalute, and as of 2009 it ranked as Italy's fourth largest insurer. The group restructured significantly in 2007 and completed a further reorganization in December 2024 that consolidated several subsidiaries under the unified Unipol Assicurazioni name.
