China Life Insurance Company is a Beijing-headquartered life insurer and China's largest life insurance company by market share, operating as the listed flagship subsidiary of the state-owned China Life Insurance (Group) Company. It provides individual and group life insurance, annuity, and accident and health insurance products, distributed through an extensive network of exclusive agents, direct sales representatives and agencies reaching both urban and rural markets across China. The company carries an enormous in-force book, with roughly 317 million long-term individual and group life insurance policies, annuity contracts and long-term health insurance policies outstanding, and its parent group also controls subsidiaries in asset management, property and casualty insurance, pensions and overseas insurance.
