Banca Mediolanum

Banca Mediolanum is an Italian bank, insurance and asset management conglomerate headquartered in Basiglio, near Milan, and the parent of the wider Mediolanum Group. Its business dates to 1991, with the bank itself formally established in 1997 by Ennio Doris, who still holds a significant ownership stake. It provides retail banking, life and non-life insurance, and mutual fund management, with operations reaching into Spain and Germany as well as Italy. Since 2021 it has been directly supervised by the European Central Bank as a Significant Institution, and it is a member of the FTSE MIB index.
