OTP Bank

OTP Bank is Hungary's largest commercial bank and an independent financial services group across Central and Eastern Europe, headquartered in Budapest. It traces its origin to Hungary's First National Savings Bank of 1839 and was established in its present form as OTP Bank on 1 March 1949, and today it holds over 25 percent of the Hungarian banking market with about 40,845 employees as of 2025. Beyond Hungary the group operates in ten Central and Eastern European countries plus Central Asia, serving more than 17.5 million customers through over 1,100 branches, with subsidiaries in insurance, real estate, factoring, leasing and asset management.
