Aberdeen Group plc, trading as Aberdeen, is a wealth and investment management firm headquartered in Edinburgh, Scotland, with offices on George Street. The company traces its roots to 1825 through predecessor Standard Life and to Aberdeen Asset Management, founded in 1983. It changed its trading name from abrdn to Aberdeen on 4 March 2025 and its formal corporate name from abrdn plc to Aberdeen Group plc on 13 March 2025. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange as a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.
