Taiwan Financial Holdings Group

Taiwan Financial Holdings Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based, state-owned corporation headquartered in Taipei that serves as the parent holding company of the Bank of Taiwan, BankTaiwan Securities and BankTaiwan Life Insurance. It was approved for formation on December 6, 2007 and began operations on January 1, 2008, created through a legislative merger of several state financial institutions under the Ministry of Finance into what was then Taiwan's largest financial institution.
