Brex

Brex is a financial technology company headquartered in San Francisco, California, founded on January 3, 2017 by Brazilian entrepreneurs Henrique Dubugras and Pedro Franceschi, who were both 22 years old at the time. The company began as a virtual reality startup before pivoting to financial technology with the aim of offering credit cards to venture-funded startups that lacked the credit history needed for conventional business credit. Brex now operates a spend management software platform alongside its corporate credit card business, focused on enterprise customers after it exited the small and midsize business market in 2022, and operates as a subsidiary of Capital One.
