Absa Group Limited is a multinational banking and financial services conglomerate headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, and listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. It provides personal and business banking, credit cards, corporate and investment banking, wealth management, and insurance products across ten Sub-Saharan African countries, South Africa, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, Mozambique, Seychelles, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia, with representative offices in Namibia and Nigeria and international offices in London and New York City, plus a technology support center in the Czech Republic. As of June 2024 the group held total assets of about 2.07 trillion South African rand and reported net income of 30.65 billion rand for that year. Kenny Fihla was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer effective June 17, 2025, with Rene van Wyk serving as Group Chairman.
