RHB Bank Berhad

RHB Bank Berhad is a Malaysian bank based in Kuala Lumpur, founded in 1997 through the merger of Kwong Yik Bank and DCB Bank, with Kwong Yik Bank itself tracing back to 1913 as Malaya's first local bank. Its name represents the initials of founder Rashid Hussain Berhad. RHB is the fourth largest fully integrated financial services group in Malaysia, offering banking to individuals, small businesses and corporate clients along with Islamic banking through its RHB Islamic Bank Berhad subsidiary, operating more than 200 branches with a market capitalisation of RM24.77 billion as of August 2022, and is listed on Bursa Malaysia as a constituent of the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI.
