Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation

This group collects Energy sector members whose core business is midstream: gathering, processing, storing and transporting crude oil, natural gas and related products between producers and downstream customers, typically through pipeline networks, terminals or other transportation and storage infrastructure, rather than producing or refining those products themselves. It also gathers a physical commodity trading company and a railway operator that transports oil, placed here as the closest fit among these six groups for a trading and logistics business. This group is kept apart from Oil and Gas Exploration and Production and Oil and Gas Refining and Marketing, each reserved for a company that produces or refines the product rather than moving or storing it on behalf of others.
