Indian Oil Corporation Limited is an Indian state-owned oil and gas company under the ownership of the Government of India, registered in Mumbai and headquartered in New Delhi. It is the largest government-owned oil producer in India by both capacity and revenue, with a large consolidated oil refining capacity, and operates across refining, pipeline transportation and fuel marketing. The company is distinct from the already-live Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, India's separate state-owned upstream exploration company.
