Aker BP ASA

Aker BP ASA is a Norwegian oil exploration and development company focused on petroleum resources on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Headquartered in Fornebu, with additional offices in Trondheim, Stavanger and Harstad, the company was founded in 2016 and trades on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the ticker AKERBP. Ownership is split between Aker ASA, which holds 40 percent, BP, which holds 30 percent, and public shareholders. Aker BP employs more than 3,100 people and reported 2025 revenues of approximately 10.9 billion US dollars.
