Noble Corporation plc is an offshore drilling contractor organized in London, England, with its main operating affiliate organized in the Cayman Islands. The company is the corporate successor of Noble Drilling Corporation, a Houston-founded offshore driller whose name and fleet trace back over a century of oil and gas drilling operations. Noble provides mobile offshore drilling rigs, including drillships and semi-submersibles, contracted to major oil companies for deepwater and other offshore exploration and production work worldwide.
