Pampa Energía

Pampa Energia S.A., established in 2005 and headquartered in Buenos Aires, describes itself as the largest independent energy company in Argentina, spanning the electricity and oil and gas value chain. Its operations cover electricity generation, with about 3,871 megawatts of installed capacity as of late 2018, transmission and distribution, oil and gas exploration, midstream gathering, and downstream refining and petrochemicals, employing roughly 10,000 people under chairman Marcelo Mindlin and chief executive Gustavo Mariani. The company trades on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange as PAMP and on the New York Stock Exchange as PAM through a Level II American Depositary Share program, and carried significant weight in both the MERVAL and MSCI Argentina indices as of January 2019.
