Coal and Consumable Fuels

This group collects Energy sector members whose core business is coal mining, or another mined or processed fuel commodity distinct from oil and natural gas: American, Indian, Chinese and Indonesian coal mining companies, a Spanish coal miner, a South African diversified coal producer, the world's largest publicly traded uranium company, and a large Indian conglomerate whose energy holdings run substantially through coal mining, trading and power generation. The uranium and conglomerate members are placed here as the closest fit among these six groups for a non-oil, non-gas fuel or mining business, named here as imperfect fits since neither is a coal company in the ordinary sense.
