The Williams Companies, Inc. is an American energy infrastructure company headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, founded in 1908 in Fort Smith, Arkansas by brothers David and Miller Williams as a construction firm before moving into pipeline construction and then pipeline ownership. It operates one of the largest networks of natural gas pipelines and processing facilities in the United States, transporting roughly a third of the natural gas consumed in the country.
