MOL Group

MOL Plc, formally Magyar Olaj- és Gázipari Részvénytársaság, is a Hungarian multinational oil and gas company headquartered in Budapest, tracing its roots to a 1957 national oil and gas trust and organized in its current form since 1 October 1991. Trading as MOL Group, it also includes the former state oil companies of Croatia and Slovakia, INA and Slovnaft, and runs integrated operations spanning exploration and production, refining, petrochemicals, power generation, trading and retail fuel across more than 30 countries with over 2,400 service stations in ten of them. As of 2025 it employed about 28,743 people and ranked among the most valuable companies in Central and Eastern Europe.
