Gazprom is a Russian state-owned multinational energy corporation headquartered in Saint Petersburg, vertically integrated across natural gas exploration, production, transport, distribution and power generation. Its name is a contraction of the Russian words for gas industry, and it distributes gas through pipelines it builds and owns across Russia and abroad, including the Power of Siberia and TurkStream lines, historically accounting for a significant share of global natural gas output.
