China Shenhua Energy Company Limited, a subsidiary of Shenhua Group, is the largest state-owned coal mining enterprise in mainland China and one of the largest in the world. The company mines, processes and sells coal, and also generates and sells electric power, operating an integrated railway network and a seaport used primarily to transport its own coal to market.
