Nongfu Spring Co., Ltd.

Nongfu Spring is a Chinese bottled water and soft beverage company headquartered in Xihu District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, owned and chaired by founder Zhong Shanshan. Founded on 26 September 1996, it launched its first packaged drinking water product in 1997 sourced from Zhejiang's Thousand-Island Lake and has since diversified into fruit drinks, tea beverages, vitamin drinks and coffee products, becoming China's largest bottled water producer and a top-three producer in the bottled tea and juice market. The company trades on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as a Hang Seng Index component, and reported revenue of 24 billion yuan, about US$3.4 billion, in 2019, up from 20.47 billion yuan the year before.
