Selgros is a European cash and carry wholesale chain established in 1989 as a joint venture between the Rewe Group and the Otto Group, each holding half ownership. Rewe took full control in March 2008 before selling its stake to Coop of Switzerland in 2011, and Selgros now operates as part of Coop's Transgourmet Holding.
