Carlsberg Srbija is a Serbian beer brewery based in Celarevo, near Backa Palanka, tracing its roots to the Celarevo Brewery founded in 1892 by Lazar Dundjerski. It was reestablished in its current corporate form on December 31, 1998 and has been majority owned by the Danish Carlsberg Group since 2003, employing around 550 people. Its leading brand, Lav, has made Carlsberg Srbija the second largest brewer in Serbia, with a market share of about 28.4 percent as of 2012.
