Guinness Ghana Breweries is a beverage manufacturer based in Kumasi and Accra, Ghana, established in 1960. The company produces beer, malt drinks and ready-to-drink beverages under brands including Guinness, Malta Guinness, Star Beer and Smirnoff, and is listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange. Diageo controlled the company for decades until the French brewer Castel Group acquired an 80.4 percent stake in 2025.
