The Granville Island Brewing Company is a brewery originally based on Granville Island in Vancouver, British Columbia, founded in 1984 and described by itself as Canada's first microbrewery. It was sold to Andrew Peller Ltd in 1989 and bought by Creemore Springs, a subsidiary of Molson Coors, in 2009.
