Vornado Air

Vornado is an American brand of fans, air circulators, heaters, air purifiers and humidifiers based in Andover, Kansas, built around a proprietary Vortex Action technology intended to move air through a whole room rather than in a single directed stream. The brand traces to the O.A. Sutton Company, founded in the 1930s, and was reestablished in its current form as Vornado Air, LLC in 1989, formally reorganized in December 2006 after a private-equity acquisition of the predecessor company assets. It operates today as an independent company headquartered in Andover, Kansas.
