Haier Smart Home Co., Ltd is the publicly traded affiliate of Haier Group Corporation, 35 percent owned by its parent, and designs, develops, manufactures and sells home appliances including refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, dryers and microwave ovens under brands including Haier, Casarte, Leader, GE Appliances, Fisher and Paykel, Aqua, Candy and Evo. It is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, where it trades as a D-share. As of 2021 it reported revenue of 227.5 billion yuan, ranked 407th on the Fortune 500, and employed about 109,586 people, and according to Euromonitor International data it ranked first globally in major appliance sales volume from 2009 to 2018 and held the world's number one position for twelve consecutive years through 2020.
