Maryland Renaissance Festival

Consumer Discretionary

The Maryland Renaissance Festival is a Renaissance fair held in Crownsville, Maryland, set in a fictional sixteenth-century English village called Revel Grove and spread across 27 acres. It runs for nine weekends starting the last weekend of August each year. The festival began in 1977, running for four weekends near Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia before relocating to Crownsville in 1985, and has been run since 1986 by Jules Smith Jr. and his three siblings, who took over operations from their father and the festival's founder, Jules Smith Sr. This description is adapted from Wikipedia contributors under CC BY-SA 4.0; changes were made. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/
