TUI Travel PLC was a British leisure travel company based in Crawley, West Sussex, formed on September 3, 2007 by the merger of First Choice Holidays PLC with the tourism division of TUI AG, which held majority ownership. Operating across some 180 countries and serving about 30 million customers a year through passenger transport, travel agency and accommodation businesses, the company was delisted from the London Stock Exchange on December 17, 2014 when it merged fully into its German parent to form the unified TUI Group.
