Based in Sundbyberg, Sweden, the company is known for ergonomic design in the Scandinavian minimalist style and for long-term rather than disposable product development, with Lillemor Jakobson joining as creative designer in 1962. Its products are sold in more than 50 countries, with major markets in the United States, Japan and South Korea.
