Meituan is a Chinese technology company headquartered in Beijing that operates a local-services platform spanning food delivery, consumer reviews, hotel and travel bookings, instant retail and bike-sharing through its Mobike subsidiary. Founded by Wang Xing in May 2010 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the company had more than 770 million annual transacting users and over 14.5 million active merchants by the end of 2024, with food delivery as its largest source of revenue and total revenue of about 364.9 billion yuan, roughly 53.82 billion US dollars, in 2025. Meituan has begun expanding internationally under its Keeta brand into Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Brazil.
