Mister Minit

Mister Minit is an international retail service company established in 1957 by Donald Hillsdon Ryan in Brussels, operating from four regional headquarters in Erembodegem, Belgium; Riverwood, Australia; Manchester, England; and Singapore. The company specializes in on-site services including shoe repair and key cutting, later expanding into knife sharpening, engraving, watch repairs, rubber stamp production and vehicle registration plate manufacturing, built on a shop-in-shop model delivering instant service in compact locations such as beneath a department store escalator; by 2007 it operated more than 2,000 service locations across 16 or more countries, though it filed for insolvency in Germany in 2020, with all German stores closed by 2021.
