BBQGuys

BBQGuys is a barbecue grill and outdoor cooking retailer headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, founded in 1998 by Air Force veteran Michael Hackley and his wife Ladina Hackley as the Grill Store & More before later moving online and adopting the BBQGuys name during the dot-com era. Private equity firm Brand Velocity Partners acquired the company from Hackley in August 2020, after which a group of NFL figures including Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Archie Manning, LaDainian Tomlinson, and Steve Hutchinson joined as strategic investors. The company, which also manufactures products through its sister company Blaze Outdoor Products, employed about 294 people as of 2021, was named Small Business of the Week by the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship in 2019, has appeared on the Inc. 5000 list for eleven consecutive years, and acquired modular outdoor kitchen maker Mont Alpi in 2025.
