Uniroyal, formerly known as the United States Rubber Company, is an American brand of tires for cars, trucks, minivans and SUVs, as well as other synthetic rubber products. It was founded in Naugatuck, Connecticut, in 1892, was one of the original twelve stocks in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, and adopted the unified Uniroyal name for its brands and subsidiaries in 1961.
