Bentley Crewe

Consumer Discretionary

Bentley Crewe, also called the Pyms Lane site, is the factory on the outskirts of Crewe in Cheshire that began in 1938 as a Rolls-Royce shadow factory for Merlin aero engines. When the war ended Rolls-Royce moved its motor car operations there from Derby, and in 1946 it built its first car, the Bentley Mark VI. It made Rolls-Royce cars such as the Silver Wraith, the Silver Spirit and the Silver Seraph until 2002, and is now the base of Bentley Motors.
