Panasonic is a Japanese multinational electronics manufacturer headquartered in Kadoma, Osaka, founded in 1918 as Matsushita Electric Housewares Manufacturing Works by Konosuke Matsushita. Incorporated in 1935 as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., it adopted the Panasonic Corporation name in 2008 and reorganized as the holding company Panasonic Holdings in 2022, producing consumer electronics, rechargeable batteries, and automotive and industrial equipment.
