Changan Ford

Changan Ford is the Chinese car-making joint venture in which Ford Motor Company and Changan Automobile each hold half. It is based in Chongqing and builds Ford-badged passenger cars for the Chinese market at plants in Chongqing, Hangzhou and Harbin. The venture came out of a 2012 split of the older Changan Ford Mazda partnership into separate Ford and Mazda ventures, and its production base is now the largest Ford operates outside Michigan.
