Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki India Limited is the Indian subsidiary of Japanese automaker Suzuki Motor Corporation and the largest automobile manufacturer in India, specializing in small cars. It was established by the Government of India as Maruti Udyog Limited in February 1981 as a joint venture with Suzuki, which became the first Japanese automaker and the first major foreign automaker to invest in India; as of 2025 the company had a market capitalization of roughly fifty to fifty five billion US dollars.
