Orange S.A. is a French telecommunications company headquartered in Paris, originating as France Telecom, the state telecommunications administration that was corporatized in 1990 and later privatized. It adopted the Orange brand, originally acquired from a British mobile operator, across its operations and formally renamed itself Orange in 2013, and it is one of the largest telecommunications companies in Europe, also operating extensively across Africa and the Middle East.
