Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) is the official news agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, founded on March 1, 1920 and headquartered in Baku. Controlled by the Azerbaijani government, it distributes news on politics, economics, education, science, culture, health, sports and the environment in eight languages, including Azerbaijani, Russian, English and Arabic, and has been chaired by Vugar Aliyev since November 2022.
