11 bit studios S.A. is a Polish video game developer and publisher based in Warsaw, founded in September 2010 by former members of CD Projekt and Metropolis Software. The studio is known for This War of Mine, released in 2014 and praised for its depiction of civilians under siege, and for the dystopian city-survival game Frostpunk, which sold more than 250,000 copies in its first three days after its 2018 release and was followed by Frostpunk 2 in 2024.
