The Union of Catholic Asian News, known as UCAN, is a news agency covering issues of interest to the Catholic Church across Asia. It was founded in Hong Kong in 1979 by Maryknoll Father Robert Astorino and has grown into one of the world's largest Catholic news organizations, sharing reporting on Asian Catholic communities with readers in the United States, Europe and beyond.
